“Hello everyone, I’m Devin ‘Dev’ Partridge. Since leaving JourneyPure, my life has taken a remarkable turn. The first few months of recovery were tough. I lost a close friend in a car accident, attended five funerals in three months, and dealt with loved ones and fellow alumni struggling with addiction. My barbershop flooded twice, and I went through a divorce. Despite these challenges,
A New Beginning
I persevered, realizing how far I’d come and how strong I’d become. I earned my family’s trust, met the love of my life, and gained a new family. I achieved financial stability, obtained my barbering license, and got my barbershop up and running.I’m also proud to be actively involved in my recovery community.
The Road to Recovery
I have chaired multiple NA meetings in my home group and serve as secretary. Giving back and helping others has been instrumental in my growth. I’m grateful for my recovery, which has allowed me to be present and involved with my loved ones.
